Each chakra holds a part of our eternal story, who we were, who we are, and who we can become. The chakras hold our memories, positive or negative. They hold the experiences of our ancestors and our own life experiences. Chakras hold our personalized Divine Blueprint for ultimate joy and growth.    As we work on the chakras we are working on the mainframe system, the programs that influence how our emotional and physical body functions.  Negative beliefs, including those that have been passed to us generationally,  and negative experiences can block or diminish the flow of life force in the chakras. Clearing and balancing the chakras helps restore our sense of well-being and restores a connection to God, our true self, and our true path.

Chakras are the governing ‘transformers’ so to speak, for the life-force energy regulation throughout the body.  Chakras, like computer terminals, download life force energy and other energies into the nervous and endocrine systems through receptors in the cells. They’re the energetic interface between the higher frequency subtle energies and our more energetically dense physical body. The seven major chakras have been found to correspond to the major nerve ganglia centers; dysfunction at the level of the chakras is directly reflected in pathological disorders within the nervous system and endocrine system.

Although our simple diagram represents the 7 major chakras, there are many minor chakras as well.  This diagram represents the common colors assigned to the major chakras, but in actuality, each chakra has many spinning, multi-colored layers unique to each individual.  Donna Eden, a foremost expert in energy medicine, explains that each chakra is a conduit for a particular form of energy; each has a soul-deep task, and holds transcendent beauty. 
    The gifts each chakra offers remind us that are are blessed with everything we need to fulfill our life’s purpose and experience joy.  Indeed, as we consider the nature of our chakras, we realize we were created to be “children of light.”
