Yes, there are immense challenges in our world today, but there is hope and help. We provide counseling services to relieve distress from:

  • trauma
  • relationship issues
  • phobias
  • grief and loss
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • children and adolescent issues
  • women’s issues
  • compulsive eating and weight loss

At the Light Point Healing Center, we use traditional “evidence-based” counseling strategies and skills building to empower individuals with new tools and insights:

  •  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Person-Centered Approach
  • Psychodynamic Approach
  • Gestalt Strategies
  •  Sand Tray Therapy
  • Play Therapy
  • Mindfulness and Acceptance Strategies

Additionally, we offer  integrative therapies such as:

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
  • Massage Therapy
  • Aromatherapy
  • Guided Imagery Meditation

Energy Psychology techniques, such as EFT,  have been shown through extensive research to bring lasting, rapid relief.   These therapies acknowledge that there is a universal life force which flows from the Creator to all living things. For Christians, this life force is known as the “light of Christ.”  In other cultures, this life force is known as “chi,” “prana,” or “mana.”  Disruptions and imbalances in the flow of this life force or “energy” contribute to emotional pain and chronic health problems. By working with the subtle energy systems (merdians, chakras, and auric field),  we can get to the heart of core issues and create new thought patterns in just a few sessions.  This saves time and money.

We work collaboratively with you to decide what approach is best.  Contact us for a free consultation:
